These are some of the questions that we most frequently get asked:
School opens its doors for pupils at 8.45am. and registers are taken at 8.55 am. Pupils arriving after the doors close at 8.55am must enter the school through Reception and go to the office to be registered. The school day finishes at 3.15pm for KS1 pupils and 3.25pm for KS2 pupils.
If your child is ill, it is the responsibility of you as a parent to inform the school . A telephone call, e-mail or note to explain an absence is necessary; otherwise an unauthorised absence will be recorded. e-mail absence@harrison.hants.sch.uk Telephone 01329 234016.
If your child has had sickness or diarrhoea they should not attend school until they have been free of the illness for 48 hours.
We will give prescribed medication if it is to be administered four times a day. Under these circumstances we would give your child their medication at lunchtime once you have completed an Administration of Medicines and Treatment Consent form. (These are available from the school office or by downloading a form below).
If your child has been prescribed medicine three times a day the PCC recommend that it is administered before and after school and just before bedtime. Please note we are unable to give non-prescribed medication.
