We have recently been made aware that some children have been using unkind and inappropriate behaviour in group chats on their mobile devices. We understand that this has been occurring outside of school hours.
We would also advise that we are hearing rumours of inappropriate use of Instagram and the uploading of personal videos on You Tube. We believe that your child needs to be 13 years old and over to open an account on You Tube and then only with parents consent. Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Kick and Snapchat are all 13.
With the Easter holidays upon us, we ask that you check your child’s use of social media.
