The HSA World Book Day Competition

In celebration of the Harrison World Book Day today, the HSA has created another exciting opportunity for our school community to join together in celebration of World Book Day by inviting your child to get creative and design a new front cover for their favourite book!

A winner from each year group will be selected by a panel of judges made up of school staff and each winner will receive a £25 voucher (either a National Book Token or Amazon Voucher - child's choice!)

After seeing all the fabulous entries for the Autumn Art Competition last year, we can't wait to see what your children create this time around.

Please note: all entries must be emailed to the HSA at harrison.pta.hsa@gmail.com

Full details of the competition can be found in the email sent home today and on the HSA Facebook page.

    Good Luck

  • Harrison Headlines - Celebrating World Book Day

    Fri 12 Mar 2021

    Dear Parents/Carers

We have very much enjoyed celebrating our own World Book Day today; a veritable visual feast of Hogwarts, Fairy Tales, Superheroes and favourite story characters which has given us a semblance of normality and shows just how much the children have enjoyed being back at school. To mark this special day Miss Eddleston has rapidly created a film for you to view at home so that you can see how we marked World Book Day - please remember that not all children wanted to participate, or can be, photographed so you might not spot your child. The link to the video can be found on the email sent out in the Harrison Headlines today

We have had a great week, in spite of the concerns about the safety on Harrison Road (please see separate email), and the children have literally just got back on with being at school.

    Kind regards

Sara Gmitrowicz, Kirsty Eddleston and Sam Davies, Reading Lead
